The Skyros: The Forgotten Horse Breed You Need to Meet
#1 – MORPHOLOGY OF THE SKYROS
The Skyros looks like a small horse with a medium-sized and handsome head, little ears, straight shoulders, low tail, and a narrow body. The mane is long, thick and usually a hue darker than skin color. The legs are strong and slim with strong joints. The tail is low set. The hooves are compact, small, and strong, usually black, and don’t require shoeing.
These exceptional ponies are tough, resistant, voluntary, and also tempered. Regardless of their small size, they’re able to jump.
