#9 – The English Bulldog
The English Bulldog is a very affectionate dog. This breed makes a perfect companion especially for families with children and the elderly because they don’t need so much exercise and can adapt well to a sedentary lifestyle.
However, they’re not too lazy and can still enjoy long walks when the heat is not too intense. Also, be prepared for a lot of snoring! It’s the thing that all pups with flattened noses have in common.
Common health problems: Despite his fighter-like appearance, the Bulldog has a weak health. This breed’s life expectancy is around 10 years. Unfortunately, they’re prone to respiratory problems, skin problems, eye problems, osteoarticular problems, digestive problems, dystocia (difficulty farrowing), heat stroke, congenital heart disease, and obesity.
