Dogs Have A Rich Vocabulary
According to many psychologists and the canine researcher, Stanley Coren at the University of British Columbia, Dogs can understand quite a lot from what you say!
In fact, dogs with average intelligence level are found to have the ability to learn up to 165 words while those dogs that are classified among the top 20 most intelligent dogs can learn up to 250 words.
Coren also adds that the dog’s upper limit to learning a language is partly based on a study where a border collie dog called Rico displayed his ability to learn about 200 spoken words.
