Finnish Spitz
The Finnish Spitz first arrived in this country more than 2,000 years ago with the nomadic tribes. This dog breed was named “Finnish National Dog” in 1979.
Finnish Spitz is a medium-sized dog with a sharp muzzle and straight ears. The hair is short and sweet red-brown or red-yellow with a thick mane in males.
These beautiful dogs are loyal, friendly, and courageous, with a remarkable elegance. They can make excellent guard dogs and can be friendly around children. Also, they are very sensitive animals, therefore, they need a firm but gentle owner.
Dog training is essential for this breed so they can live in an apartment, limit their barking, and keep them on a leash in the city. Owners should provide a lot of exercises.
