#1 – What Can You Do if the Kitty is Wounded
If you find a stray or abandoned cat wounded, it’s only human to decide to look after this animal. But, how?
First, you must call your local animal shelter or the municipality. These people are in charge of bringing the animal to a veterinarian who will look after them.
Of course, care will be the responsibility of the owner, if the owner is identifiable. In case this identification is not possible, the cost of care will be borne by the municipality.
Note that if you decide to take care of the injured kitten, you will have to advance the pet’s health care costs. Also, be careful when handling the cat because it can be aggressive because of fear, pain, and insecurity and it may hurt you unintentionally.
