Forget about the digestive walks of the beginning or middle of the afternoon. Plan early morning or evening walks; this will help your dog to cope better with the warmth of the ground. It is recommended to go out at the coolest hours in the morning until 10 am and in the evening after 7 pm. Apart from these hours, it’s best to keep your dog cool at home.

Don’t do intense activities, such as cycling or rollerblading, with your pooch and if you do, try to reduce the time of the ride. If you have a dog backpack, you should consider placing a few ice packs inside to keep your pet cool!
