A Pitbull requires a very attentive owner when it comes to dog training. This dog breed needs space and patience. Pitbull training is essential when you plan to adopt one and it is best to consult a dog trainer who will be able to support and advise you through this necessary and difficult task.
If you’re a first-time owner of a defense or combat dog, don’t be tempted to try to train them yourself, as it could turn out really bad for everyone! (And if it happened, don’t blame it on the dog!) Too many people have started training their Pitbull and ultimately let themselves be overtaken by their pet’s temperament and behavior. One has only to see the number of dogs abandoned or in kennels to realize it.
