Korean Jindo Dogs
The Jindo hunting dog is a symbol of South Korea, officially classified as a National Treasure since 1962. To keep his lineage as pure as possible, the breeders and the Korean authorities have taken radical measures.
A medium-sized dog known for its fierce loyalty, Jindo bears the name of their native island off the south coast of the Korean peninsula.
Korean Jindos were hunting dogs. Today, they still retain courage and stubbornness. They’re not a dog that will seek human attention and caresses, they’re rather independent. They’re nevertheless such wonderful pets and companions. Korean Jindos are extremely loyal and generous, they’re just distant.
