#3 – Where Can You Take the Kittens

Before you take them home, you have to make sure that the kittens are really abandoned and not just lost. To do this, take some time to observe the animal’s appearance.
If the kitten (or kittens) you’ve found is round, clean, and calm, then they should belong to somebody or just that the mother may have gone hunting or for a ride and would come back for them soon. You can touch or take the kitties only after you’ve made sure that they’re abandoned. It would be a shame to take the little ones from their mother.
But if the kittens are dirty, thin, and disoriented, it’s very likely that they are abandoned. So don’t hesitate to take care of them or at least take them to a shelter, vet, association, or anyone who can save them. Otherwise, the poor creatures will die as they’re too fragile to survive on their own.
