#3 – Liver: Vitamins A, B, & K
The liver is loaded with vitamins and iron. In reality, it consists of higher amounts of the essential nutrients your dog needs than muscle meat. You can either buy liver from the grocery store or buy it dehydrated or feeze-dried as dog treats at the pet store.
Dogs actually love liver but make sure to never feed them too much of it because an overdose of vitamin A can cause health issues in these pets. Also, servings should never exceed half an ounce for small dog breeds and one ounce for medium and large dog breeds.
